Chimes District of Columbia is one of the nation’s largest employers of people with severe disabilities. Through federal contracts secured by Chimes, individuals with disabilities are employed at a diverse range of federal and state agencies as well as commercial enterprises, including Baltimore-Washington International Airport, the Library of Congress, the Pentagon, stadiums, and the University of Maryland. We meet the accreditation standards of NISH as an AbilityOne company.

Services

Chimes is a recipient of the President’s White House Closing the Circle award for leadership in federal environmental stewardship and green cleaning.

The weekend of December 18, 2009 was memorable for the huge amount of snow and blizzard-like conditions in Baltimore.  What was even more remarkable was the herculean effort expended to remove the snow at M&T Bank Stadium in time for the Ravens scheduled football game against the Chicago Bears.
